# 3487 Midlakes-Red Jacket Wins DAY IN REVIEW: FRIDAY - There was only one games played today. Midlakes-Red Jacket defeated Haverling. MIDLAKES-RED JACKET-14 at HAVERLING-4 - The Eagles outscored the Rams 3-1 in each of the first three quarters as Head Coach John Hicks won his 25th career game. Seven different players scored goals including Stuart Quku (3g-4a), Nate Lathrop (3g-3a), and James Sprague (3g-2a). Freshman offensiveman Carter Casper (2g) scored his first Varsity goal. In the goal senior goalie Kaiden Larsen had 12s/4ga = 75% (48 mins). Scoring for Haverling were Gavin Price (1g-1a) who reached his 50th career goal in the game, Maclain Wright (a), Zach Colegrove (1g), Drew Spears (a), Connor Brundage (1g), and Cameron Boyer (1g). Facing off for Haverling was sophomore Drew Spears with 7+/3- = 70%. Haverling is at Batavia on Tuesday while Midlakes-Red Jacket hosts Mynderse. [ BOX SCORE] |
# 3424 USA Lacrosse All-Americans and All-Academics The Head Coaches of Section V considered players who had been nominated for All-American and All-Academic awards. The awards identify some of the best players from each area around the country. Each of the head coaches in the Section is allowed to vote on each of the awards. The selections from our area were then submitted to the USA Lacrosse for final approval. |

# 3219 Newark Looks Forward Newark 2022 Class C - Finger Lakes League The last fourteen years of the Newark program was under the able direction of Matt Groot who stepped down after last season. The leadership of the Reds is now in the hands of John Hicks who spent the off-season encouraging strength training, setting up open gym events and revitalizing a booster club. |
# 3196 Class C - Looks Like Pal-Mac-HF-L and Geneva There are seven teams in Class C this year and all teams can play in the tournament which will start with quarter final games on May 25th this year. As of March 25th, the coaches poll predicts that Pal-Mac will play Geneva or HF-L in the championship game. The first complete poll will be posted on April 3rd. |
